This privacy policy explains how the mobile game "Crate Quest: Push the Box" (the "App"), published by Zenski ("we", "us"), handles information when you use it on Android or iOS. The App package / bundle ID is com.zenski.boxpush.
1. Summary
- We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or contacts.
- Your games, settings, statistics and progress are stored only on your device.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to show and measure ads, as described below.
- The optional "Remove ads" purchase is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details.
2. Information stored on your device
The App saves the following locally on your phone or tablet: game settings (sound, vibration, timer, room look, walking speed, arrow buttons, stuck-crate warnings), statistics, stars per level, streaks, experience points, ranks, achievements, the level in progress and whether you bought "Remove ads". This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Uninstalling the App deletes it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads. To serve, personalise (where permitted), measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may automatically collect and process:
- Device or other identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA (on iOS only if you allow tracking);
- Approximate location derived from your IP address;
- App interactions, such as ad views and taps;
- Diagnostics and crash information related to the ads SDK;
- Device information such as model, operating system version and language.
This data is collected and processed by Google, which acts as an independent controller or processor under its own policies. 4. Consent and your choices
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: before personalised ads are shown, the App asks for your consent using Google's User Messaging Platform (a certified consent management platform). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the App under Settings โ Privacy settings.
- iOS: the App asks for permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, your IDFA is not shared and ads are not personalised with it.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your device's Settings โ Google โ Ads (or Settings โ Privacy โ Ads).
- You can stop all ads by buying "Remove ads" in the App, and you can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App.
5. In-app purchases
The optional "Remove ads" purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. They share only the purchase status with the App so it can remove ads and restore your purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card or billing details. Purchase data is processed under Google's and Apple's privacy policies.
6. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run our own servers or analytics, and we do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data.
7. Children
The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will help remove it.
8. Data retention and deletion
Data stored on your device stays until you delete the App or its data. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's policies; you can reset your advertising identifier at any time. Because we do not hold personal data on our own servers, there is nothing for us to delete, but you may contact us with any request.
9. Security
Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because the App does not collect personal data on our own servers, most requests are handled through the choices in section 4 or directly with Google. You can also contact us at any time.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected in an App update.
